"How Much" Conversion Cutting Board $99
Made from scratch from solid maple wood, this cutting board is laser engraved with handy measurement conversions for the kitchen. The laser engraving is approximately 1/16" deep, so it will not wear off through use.
Functional, decorative and a conversation piece, the "How Much" guide board includes conversions for oven temperatures, volume measure, spoon measure, weight, and a cups to grams chart for five commonly used baking ingredients. A ruler in centimetres and inches provides a top and bottom border.
Made using FDA approved water resistant glue which is Food Safe. Our boards are finished with food grade mineral oil and beeswax. No stains have been used. All our boards are made with new wood. Reclaimed/recycled woods can be toxic and should never be used in food products such as cutting boards or utensils.
This is a perfect wedding gift for the bridal couple; for both the cooking savvy couple and for the couple that needs a little help! The cutting board will solve conversion problems when using recipes from various sources that sometimes refer to Imperial measure and sometimes use the Metric system.
The board can be used as a cutting board, serving board, or as a trivet for hot dishes. Both sides of the board are useable.
The board has been been finger jointed together. A finger joint looks like simply interlock the fingers of your hands at a ninety degree angle; hence the name "finger joint." It is stronger than a butt or lap joint, and often contributes to the aesthetics of the piece.) This means there is more of a gluing surface and the boards will never come apart.
Care: simply wipe with damp soapy cloth. Do not let sit in water or put in dishwasher. Oil with cooking oil when wood feels dry.
Please Note: Your board will be similar to the one shown. The grain in maple can vary slightly with more/fewer dark spots, etc.
Approximate size 20" x 12" x 1-1/4"
