This style of stirring spoon called a Spoodle originated in Holland in the 1800’s. The flat edge glides across the bottom of the pot while the pointed edge gets into the corners. The hole aerates the contents of the pot while stirring. Great for stirring soups and stews. An absolute must for your wooden utensil collection. No glue or stains have been used.
Treated with non-toxic mineral oil and beeswax. Food safe. Pan friendly! The spoodle will not scratch or mark your pots. All of our utensils are made with new wood. Reclaimed/recycled woods can be toxic and should never be used in food products such as cutting boards or utensils.
Care: Simply wipe with damp soapy cloth. Do not let sit in water or put in dishwasher.
Oil with cooking oil when wood feels dry.
