Mancala Game Boards

Mancala is one of the oldest board games in the world with evidence that people have been playing it in Africa for a couple thousand years. This Mancala game board was made from a solid block of North American Cherry. Wood artist Paul Szewc of Guelph put his own flare on a traditional game when coming up with the shape of the board.

The cups are easy to scoop from and you can easily see how many gems are sitting in each cup during play. Each cup will hold 22 gems comfortably, which is deeper than standard boards available. (Gemstones included but could be a different color than the photo). Machine marks are a part of the look we wanted; It gives the board a textured, organic look, similar as to the boards played on hundreds of years ago.
